WHO IS TOM HILL?
I’m a potential employee looking for a career as a programmer. Currently equipped with excellent C/C++ skills, a highly enthusiastic and outgoing personality, and topped off with the fact I’m a great team player, I’m looking to join your professional, creative environment.
I believe that I take a flexible approach to work, with me quite happily working within a team and also on my own, multitasking as appropriate, as proven through all of my previous job experiences. I am also sociable, and enjoy meeting new people. Having good work relationships is very important to me, but is secondary to the task in hand.
I am able to remain focused on a task and be calm under pressure – I enjoy working to deadlines and producing deliverables. Overall with these qualities combined with my eagerness to learn I believe I would suit your company and it would suit me.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Rare Ltd., Manor Park, Twycross, Warwickshire, CV9 3QN |

Intern Software Engineer, Twelve Month Industrial Placement
Nine Months spent within the Research & Development team which began with bug fixing and feature addition to the company’s internal SDK. Focus changed to work for another team’s in-game editor, which required liaison with both programmers and artists located in another office on site. My time in R&D culminated in a three month conversion of an in-house Xbox project to the Xbox 360 platform.
Three Months spent with the Perfect Dark Zero team, which involved the creation of an automated testing system. This involved setting up a series of automated testing procedures to be run before Engineer commits, while also collating the manual update/build/submit processes of the game to become an automated process to run on a standalone build machine.
